Bill's Story
As many of you might remember, I was a complete idiot during my too few years at Miles Mac! So, after dropping out and returning to try again a couple of times, I found myself with a partial grade X education, and working in a factory. I entered the U of M as a mature student and completed 1st year Arts, but found the cirriculum boring, but thoroughly enjoyed the studying (go figure!). Hesitatingly, I enroll...Expand for more
ed at the Winnipeg Adult Ed. Centre on Vaughan St. downtown and found it to be the place of my dreams. Studied my ass off for three years and followed that with three years at the U of Winnipeg, where I gruduated with Distinction and a 3.75 GPA. Moved to Vancouver and worked as a Research Assistant at the BC Cancer Research Centre till 1990, doing pre-clinical studies on radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
