William's Story
After reading some of the other stories from other classmates my life seems rather low key. I have been married to Sharon for 44 years now with 2 daughters and two granddaughters. I worked at Gibbes Volkswagen as a mechanic from 1971 thru 1979 when I started my own business in import auto repair. During the summer of 1984 I became the automotive instructor at Brookland-Cayce High School where I continued with my education at night, etc. until I completed my Masters equivalent. Maintenance with Lexington School District Two. I now serve as the Director of Maintenance. We have 17 schools and a total of 21 facilities that we must maintain with an approximate total of 9800 students. I look forward to the next 3 years when I will retire.
Update - I retired from Lexington School District Two June 1, 2012. Really am enjoying retirement playing golf, etc. We travel to Nashville Tennessee as often as we can to visit my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. She has another child on the way, due in March of 2016.
