William's Story
Following graduation from SHS in 1959. I worked for a short time to earn money for College. I attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA. for two years and then entered the Air Force. My tour of duty was split, 1963 - 1967, between Bremerhaven Germany,a seaport on the North Sea, and RAF Chicksands in England, 35 miles north of London. While in the service I was an active member of Toastmasters International. I have continued my membership over the years. I enjoy training and speaking in public.

ane and I are now retired. We have one daughter, Dawn, and two grandchildren, Tyler and Amber.
A friend of mine asked me what I do now that I am retired. My answer is simple. Anything I want. I am a crossing guard at two different schools. Unspoiled youngsters from Kinder garden to 5th grade. They don't ride the bus yet. The kids are really great. The motorists are unconsciously insane.
I am still active is Toastmasters. We have a great club in Syracuse. We meet every Thursday evening. It is fun working with young folks who aspire to learning leadership and public speaking. I recently joined the local Lions Club. It is time to spend some time giving back..
