William's Story
Life
After four years in the US Marines and ten years as a construction electrician, I worked 33 years at the Vandenberg AFB Atlas launch sites. Now retired, I had a stint placed into my heart in 2005. We had long considered living near our son in Dallas, Tx, but hated to give up living on the California Coast. But then we realized the time had come to move, so presently live at 1804 Sandpiper Ln. Plano, TX.
Sammie and I have been happily married over 45 years with one son in Indiana and one in Texas. I have done free-lance cartooning, including editorial cartoons in a small local paper, some in the old Wittenburg Door magazine and also for AWANA Clubs International.
I still love Tillamook County and long to have a grilled cheese at the Fern Cafe, then walk the streets of Garibaldi on a cool summer evening.

aldi, Oregon.
Like the second thief on a cross next to Jesus, I have now realized why the Messiah had to hang there.
I always wanted to be a spaceman when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a fantasy idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
The Pete Rose of old. He had no natural gifts, but hustled to be equal to the gifted ones.
My current age is 70. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be talking with teeth that clicked and flopped around.. I was so completely without a clue.
At 70, comfort beats cool by a mile.
Fastpitch Softball trophy our local team won in the county playoffs.
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by trusting the Author of Life.
Bob Stewart. We weren't that close in school, but he was encouraging in many ways. We enlisted in the Marines together and were bunkmates in boot camp. That was a better deal for me than it was to him.
