William's Story
Life
After grad school, I met my wife, went to law school, got a son, and now I live in Fairfax. I'm a branch chief for a workers' comp program in the Department of Labor. I wish I'd kept in better touch with people. If you ride a bike, you're my friend!:) If you play golf, and you're lousy, you're in my league! Call me to set up a tee-off time. My jokes have not improved with age!
School
My favorite HS teacher was Mrs. Wubnig, my AP English teacher. After HS, I started Emory U. as a pre-med, but if calculus hadn't nailed me, somet...Expand for more
hing else would have. I switched to majoring in English, went to grad school to get my master's, and then bailed ABD. I got married, went to law school, and after more years than I care to think about, I left the courtroom to work for the federal government. I have a 15-yr. old son who thinks he knows it all. I've become very active in my synagogue, singing in the choir, and subbing as a cantor from time to time. I love mountain and road biking, and just took up golf because my friends thought I needed more aggravation in my life! (Not!).
