I left Bayonne Tech early in the senior year and was accepted to Stevens Institute of Technolgy in Hoboken. I graduated from there in 1945 when I was 19 and went on to Columbia University and then Harvard University courtesy of the US Navy. 1946. I finally got my discharge papers years later. I was a Lt. jg.
All of the above is realy not important but I do look back on those years at Bayonne Tech with good memories. Anyone recall the PT boats being tested on Newark Bay?
I have fond memories of Dr. Edward Berman who was the principal of our school. He was of remarkable help to me during those years.
