He is also hauls coal for our personal consumption from a Buckhannon strip mine.

Dad still has the Diamond Reo truck and is hauling logs, distributing Royster-Clark fertilizer and is now taking orders from others and hauling coal from the mines near Buckhannon for farmers and private households in upper Pocahontas County.

Age 20-21: Third year college, 1st at Case Institute of Technology (now Case Western Reserve or CRW), worked cafeteria mornings and lunches, worked mailroom and mopped student union on weekends. Also sold Lamb Knit Sweaters at Christmas and flowers to the fraternities on formal occasions.
