William Rook:  

After leaving high school I attended Mount SAC and then Cal Poly Pomona, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences. I obtained a teaching credential and went to work for the Baldwin Park Unified School District as a teacher for 35 years. I did attended California Luthern College and obtain a Master's Degree in Special Education. I also attended Cal State Fullerton where I obtain a Master's degree in School Administration. My working carreer found me teaching elementary school and working in the teacher's union. I was President of the Baldwin Park Education Asssociation CTA/NEA. I was Chief Negotiator for the Union for 20 years and negotiated many contracts with the district. For my service to the Union I was honored with CTA's WHO Award, (We Honor Ours). In 1993 I was selected as Baldwin Park School District's Teacher of the Year. I retired in 2005 after 35 years in the district. I live in Claremont, California. I was married for 48 years, I am 42 year residents of the city. At the age of 21 I join the Masonic Lodge and have labored in the craft ever since. I am a Past Master of The Gardens Lodge No.621 and of Claremont Lodge No. 436. I retired as secretary to Claremont Lodge in 2010. I am Past Master of Kadosh of the Pasadena Consistory and Past Venerable Master of the Lodge of Perfection of the Pasadena Scottish Rite.
