My Job
I'm a ceramic and marble installer. I specialize in upscale custom residential design work. Although I do work for an area showroom here in southern Maine, I also do alot of work on my own, designing as well as installing custom installations. When I was in high school, if anyone told me I'd end up as a tile contractor, I'd have told them they were crazy, in spite of the fact that my father was, as well. ul, but doing it in a way that not just any tile man can. In my off time, I spend alot of time helping people to do their own installations at several online forums, the two main ones being Gardenweb's Kitchens and Baths forums, and John Bridge's forum. In addition, it's unbelievable to me just how many "fly by nights" there are out there, and I like helping people to be able to figure out who knows what they're doing and who's just blowing smoke, if they're hiring someone to do the work.
