William's Story

Life Life threw me a curve... As most of my friends know, I suffered a "Thalamic Stroke" on April 19th, 2006 that left me with no sense of touch or feeling on my entire right side. Everything still works (I think) .I just can't feel it and have to think what I want to move before it moves. I can't work anymore. I can't walk very good without a cane now to keep me from falling down and to top it all off, I am not allowed to drive. This "conditio...Expand for more
n" may have slowed me down but I refuse to let it stop me from living my life. I just have to learn how to do things in different ways is all Most of the people that I know react to me like they might catch it too. I have actually seen them take a step back from me when they find out my condition. I'm stuck at my house and since none of my "friends" that live around here will call or visit anymore, I'm online a lot looking for anyone to talk to.
