William's Story
Roads traveled have taken me from Delavan, to Madison, to Minnesota, to Indiana, to Georgia (hell on earth), and back to Delavan, and now we enjoy living in the Valley of the Sun in Phoenix AZ. I have 3 kids, 2 sons and a daughter. I became a grandfather for the 1st time in April 2010. I have 2 granddaughters and a a grandson. My 2nd son is an elementary school teacher at UW-Madison, and my daughter Is a delivery room nurse at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. . They each received their BA at Purdue and Wisconsin. My oldest son Earned degrees from Purdue, Memphis, and Florida State. He lives with his family in Maintowoc and teaches in the UW system in Green Bay and the Fox Valley campuses. He is married and has a son.

that Lissie Lefel was living in Delavan. I called her and we met at Lake Lawn for a glass of wine one very cold snowy, wintery Friday night in February 2007. We talked about our lives for the next four hours over one glass of wine. We've been together ever since that night and couldn't be happier. Fate has a way of taking her time, and teaching us lessons about life. Lissie and I were married in February 2008 after living 42 years in similar but separate lives. Life has it's way of taking us on a journey that leads us to that place where we are supposed to be, and Lis and I have found that place. We have found incredible and unbelievable happiness together. We moved to Sun City West in 2018 after we both retired. We enjoy many of the recreation activities available in our 55+ community. We spend lots of rime at the pool and I enjoy golfing year round. Life is good....
