William's Story

Just a bit about me Hmmmm where to start. I own a house and live in North Highlands Ca now but not for all of my life The first 18 years was in a small logging town in the Mother Load above Jackson Ca. It was a town of 250 people or so. After 6 years of collage I traveled all over and have lived in Gallup New Mexico and Salt Lake City Utah then finally got tired and came back home to California. I grew up with older friends so have a bit older value to life than most have. That dose not mean that I am a stick in the mud. My first good job took me all over the USA traveling 49 of the 50 states, all of Canada and some of Northern Mexico. That added up to around 6.8 million miles and still counting. Can you tell me what state I have not driven in you will surprise me. I was a foster care provider for the state for about 6 years and have a current DOJ (Department of Justice) clearance. When I traveled the US and hauled for the government I had special clearance to hall some wild things and have been places that would shock you places that just a every day Joe cant go. Some of the stories I could tell you about them would shock you....Expand for more
But you know how the old saying goes "If I Told You Then I Would Have To......Well ou know the story LOL I listen to most everything as far as music goes but I like classic rock the best. I have attended concerts all over the US Tom Petty and Pink Floyd (Sacramento) Grateful Dead (Las Vegas) AC/DC ( Dallas TX.) Little Feet (New York NY) and Arosmith in Fairbanks Alaska to just list some cool ones. You will often find me traveling down the road rocking out to Meat Loaf, ELO or Asleep at the Wheel. I even will get in to George Strait, Jerry Reed or some of the older county older western singers. Who sings this song? The line is..."Would you give your throat to the wolf with the read roses?" As far as hobbies go I have a big one I restore old trucks. You may be thinking pick up's trucks COOL ....well you may get a shock most of mine are 1800 pounds or more. That's 9 tons. Now that I have a local job where I do not travel out of state and get home at night to water the grass. I do go out of state when I go to a truck show with one of my old trucks. As far as computers go I run two web pages and I am the treasurer of our local truck Chapter.
