Windy's Story
Life
Well I got married in high school and we have been married 9 years. I think that is a big accomplishment. We have moved several times being in the military. I have been to Las Vegas with my husband to be apart of the USAF Thunderbirds, while there I recieved spouse of the year in 2000. This was for being the most supportive spouse and running the Thunderbird's Enlisted Spouses club. I had my daughter there in Las Vegas. She is now 5. We moved to Mississippi after my husband went to Off...Expand for more
icer school. So now we are in Louisiana for him to be a contracting officer. All the while I have been doing hair. I went to Haney my senior year for hair and I can't imagine doing anything else. It just fits me. We are doing great and I am enjoying my life. I would only have changed one thing and that would be getting college done right out of high school. It is much harder now with a career, family and just plain being older. Your brain doesn't seem to work as good as it did in high school.
