Wynnette's Story
Life
My Spouse
In college, we were both working in the cafeteria. I had just been dumped the first day we went out.
My Pets
I have a new kitten to replace my cat that died of kidney failure after 13 years of devotion and love.
My Children
I have a boy,age 11 and a girl, age 7. He plays the cornet and she dances, and dances. They are a whole new dimension to my life. They are the biggest challenge and the best reward for each test I pass is the simple hug and knowing we love each other.
My Job
I am a registered radiologic technologist. (X-ray technologist.) My favorite class in high school was photography, and now I am still shooting film.
In my spare time....
I play soccer, knit, and....
TAP DANCE!!!!!
Workplace
I am a radiologic technologist. I have done this now for 25 years. Going to college and getting an interesting job changed/saved my life.
I hope people remember me as being insane.
I always wanted to be a vetinarian when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a lofty idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I love to relax by tap dancing, crazy tap dancing, or disco dancing, or anything BUT square dancing or country/western (puke)
The wildest thing I ever did was with Donna Meikle, when we stole every real estate sign we could find (esp open house ones) and then completed our decoration of Patrick Lundy's home by t-p ing it (his family was on vacation!)
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have fun, friends, and caring people to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
Hmmm, my hero would have to be my Mom. She is a self made woman, she pursued several interests, and she can sure take a joke!
I was born in Iowa, we moved when ...Expand for more
I was 2yrs old because of the work situation to Tucson,Az. When I finished the second grade we moved to Milwaukie, Or once again, due to the work situation. I attended the best college ever in Klamath Falls, became an x-ray tech in Grants Pass (Jo General), and moved back to Portland,Or to be close to my family.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Jody DeMenge, because he was the greatest cousin and died too early in life from aids. I miss him..
My obsession is a really, really good yarn. Preferabley one I have picked up on a vacation. I will make something that will remind me of that location, and there will be no other item like it in the w o r l d.
My biggest surprise is actually finding someone who would want to marry me and having two really wonderful children. I am so blessed.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel everything and add on a pool. My dream home would be not an apartment..
Take a chance, is the one lesson my kids have taught me.
Mrs. Orr. What a classy lady and I loved singing. She really gave herself to her students.
If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to my kids, then spend the rest on pets, yarn and drinks!.
I did live in the dorms at OIT and I really had a great time! Water fights, involving showers...sounds nasty, but it was completely innocent, right Tim? I almost joined a sister club to Zetta Betta Kappa, but ran out when I discovered a weird guy that belonged to the frat.
To be truly happy, I would be giving anything I could to improve the lives of dogs and cats around the world.
My current age is 52. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be embalmed. I was so completely correct.
