Yeta's Story
After graduating from high school I divorced remarried and divorced in a very short period of time,,wow..I went to nursing school, married and now have three beautiful daughters .Each daughter has a child so now I find myself blessed with a 13 year old granddaughter a grandson that is 12 and one that is 4years old..I love being a grandma!!
I live in a suburb of Denver Colorado..work in a local hospital in the operating room..nursing has truly been a very rewarding career..hard to believe I have been a nurse for 34 years..never regretted it once...
Planning a trip to Ireland in the fall..
I love travel..have done some would like to do more...I have traveled to Seattle,Canada,Mexico with a return visit to Mexico in 2006 with a daughter and her son and my grandaughter. We rented a car drove to Ensenada walked through local flea market even went out on a fishing boat with one of the locals ,we donated the fish caught for fish tacos to the gentleman who took us on his boat. The delight was to see my granchilrens face each time they caught a fish.I had a return visit to Seattle Oregon with two daughters and their child in 2007 during spring break (Oregon is a very beautiful state and at least the parts we visited very clean)and I have made several trips to visit my sister and her family in Florida always great fun.
I was really quite in high school..then I married in my junior year..what was I thinkin??
All that has changed..can't survive in the operating room if your quite.
Made lots of friends here but I would like to reconnect with friends from Claiborne Co .
In 10 years, I hope to be trave...Expand for more
ling nurse. I'm going to get there by 2012.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.I can give credit for my career selection to my first husband "Eddie"it was while doing his lab draws on patients in Claiborne County Hospital,he made a coment about my ability to be a nurse(he beleived in me) I made the decision to go to nursing school..he probably never knew what an incredible gift he gave to me that day ..
I enjoy working in my backyard planting flowers/I enjoy reading .
I was inspired by my first grade teacher Miss Casey..she taught me many things the main one being how important the smallest things you can do for someone may mean.
I share my home with my granddaughter, which I find wonderful/stressful.
If I could do it all over again..I wouldn't change a thing..sure the marriages weren't what I expected and brought a lot of unhappiness but along with it I ended up at this wonderful place in my life with the family and friends I have. if I were to change one thing..this would not be the case..
I just returned from my dream trip to Ireland!!What great fun and adventure.I have never traveled abroad until this trip..Ireland was everything I thought it would be and more. The views were so much like Tennessee in so many ways and yet not...the people were so welcoming.I saw many sites..the Cliffs of Moor er,the Burr en ruins, the Dingle Peninsula and many castles..and yes I kissed the blarney stone..a trip I plan to take again perhaps next year..or maybe Scotland...in search of my roots you know..
