Yolanda (Yogi)'s Story
Life
I still live in Kansas City, Kansas. I have 4 beautiful granddaughters, Abby 9, Maddy 6, Ari 4 and Kaity 3. I also have a cat, a dalmatian and a Wiener dog. I am extremely blessed to have all my family close by. I am an step aerobic instructor at the YMCA part-time and work full time for the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) as an office manager. In May Steve and I celebrated our 33rd wedding aniversary (wow)!
My family and I still attend Holy Name Church. So I haven't venture far from where my roots are...Expand for more
but I love it. Like I said I am blessed and I never want to take that for granted.
Workplace
I have worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation for almost 20 years. My office recently relocated to Bonner Springs K-7/I-70. Previously it was where most of us probably took our driving test I-35 and Lamar. So 3 days a week I leave that job and go to my 2nd job at the YMCA. But that 2nd job doesn't really feel like a job it's to much fun. I can retire in 6 years and hopefully I will. Steve can retire in 5 1/2years.
