Yolanda's Story

Life Greg & I have now been back from Japan for almost 10 years ... since being back we have lived in Washington state, Guam, Maryland, and Colorado ... We celebrated our 40th Anniversary this past October ... for the time being, we have made our home on the East Coast ... no idea where we'll end up retiring yet ... Greg is still working ... I just got offered and accepted a new job starting next week ... I completed my BA in Legal Studies - Paralegal Profession in December 2017 ... I was just approved to take the National Federation of Paralegal Association PACE exam to become a certified paralegal ... The kids are still living in Oregon ... Kim lives in the Roseburg area and young Greg is in the Springfield area. Given today's combined family status that many families share, we have five grandkids - Rosie is going to be 17, Peyton is going to be 16, Casey is 1...Expand for more
5, Evelyn will be 13, and Abigail will be 9 ... they're all growing up right before our eyes ... Grandpa and I talk to them as much as possible and we try to go home for short visits to spend as much time as we can with them. As for our two four-legged children ... Sandy just turned 11 last October ... we've now had her for almost 11 years ... the newest kid is Gracie, a Yorkie, whom we've lovingly dubbed Her Royal Highness or Princess ... she just turned a year old in December ... she joined our family last February ... her and Sandy are very attached to us and each other ... 'Til next time ... take care and God Bless ... :) School Though life has gotten in the way of my school friendships, I still think about my dear friends and miss them tremendously .... maybe we can reconnect some time ... as always, I hope and pray that life is treating you all well ...
