Yvonne's Story
I will do this just for fun, but I doubt that any of my former peers will be reading this, but just one more try. I am now 89 years old, and feel I've had a very wonderful life. Met my husband at Mas at the close of the war, courted on a sailboat, under the stars, and married six months later. We had six wonderful kids, and now a lot of lovely grandchildren and great grandchildren. They have chosen various vocations, and have done well. I had hoped to connect with someone in my class or classes, who attended school with me, but since I was always the youngest in my class I wasn't verty optimistic about finding anyone, and I haven't. duated to university with Agnes Greenall, Gabrielle Lonergan, Diana Bond, William Hickey, and Marie Mahoney. I have found Marie, living in the same town as I live, and I know that Agnes is deceased. But there were other friends I remember at St.Anne's, though not in the same grade. I took a secretarial course after graduation, and during the war worked in various places. I was stenographer in the Bank of Montreal for most of the time, then after the war, joined my father and brother in a business venture which still exists today.
