Wow..Life in the past 25+ years! Trials and tribulations of children and I have 2 of them 19 and 23 yrs old and a grandson 4 yrs. A couple of long term relationships, not married and now single..tried the various pets over the years..'til we found that my son was allergic! No new chopper or anything like that! but I've been asked recently to think about training in something totally different..! like becoming a pilot, working on the highways driving 1 of those big machines! Thats' not my thing! I would prefer something that includes animals, like horses...which I have missed since I left the farm..! I usually head to Merritt for my annual vacation in July (Mountain Music Fest!) and there have been times for a quick weekend visit. But these visits have lessened each year..I've been living on Vancouver Island for almost 8 yrs now and love it! I have truly settled here on the coast...and it's been home for some time now..! el much closer to them than to my own family... I love my brothers dearly..! we have had losses over the years...seems like too many at times I would be travelling home to Merritt to attend funerals..! I hate visiting and caught up during those times..! I still cringe at times if my mother calls me at work...(bad news?) but, can't let it hold me back...life's cycle...
Of course I dream about winning some huge jackpot and buying a ranch somewhere..! Dreams..~ My son says that I totally missed my calling...should have been a stock car driver.. he's witnessed my driving for 19 yrs...Yikes what have I taught him! I believe that I've raised my children fairly well... most of their lives I've been the single parent..my son has great character..! and of course my daughter is and always will be challenging..! started to show when she was 12 yrs old! (Nah... I was never rebellious..or showed attitude!) shh..no talking about the parties that I used to have..! My brothers threaten to spill some stories from time to time... Yikes......!
