Zoe's Story
Life
After graduation from High School, I worked for a year and then entered nursing school at Henry Ford Hosptial School of Nursing in Detroit. I graduated from there in 1968 and had been working at Henry Ford Hospital since August of 1968. I was a Utilization Review and Appeals Coordinator for 1/6 of the hospital beds. I own my own home in Royal Oak. I have two siamese cats named Mi-Ling and Kaya that I rescued in August of 2004. I am a cantor at Our Lady of Lasallette Church in Berkely, I also sing in the adult choir and play the handbells. I am teaching myself to play the recorder too. I retired from Henry Ford Hospital in February 2007 and began a new career at Blue Care Network Insurance Compa...Expand for more
ny in Southfield and have been working there full time since and retired Dec 29,2011. I am now working as a contractor for Aerotech Scientifii. and working a four month job and then I will be working at Henry Ford Hospital 1 day a week. I am planning on returning to Ireland again this August.
Feb 2016: I finally retired in November 2015. I am going to be celebrating my 70th birthday in Dungarvan, Ireland in June. Excited to go again, Rented a cottage and a car rhe last time in West Clare. This time going near Waterford in the South east and found a lovely cottage and I am driving again. Did you know that you cannot rent a car in Ireland if you are 75? Anyone interested in going, think about going soon.
