Zoe's Story
Life
Well, I had a lot of growing up to do. I grew up in England, and that was a slightly different culture...I also had some different challenges as a young child (ok, not like that's not a new thing...but thats my story). I had the opportunity to switch over to an American school system and had good times...you folks are a trip! I lost my accent about 10 yrs later...I seldom roll out words that have a hint of british to them. I am tirelessly serving uncle sam now while he tirelessly covers for my severly-disabled daughter! I've worked with all sorts and learned a lot from everyone of you...name drop a few; Greg Walsh, Casandra Pratt, Connie White...etc
Well, in 95 I became born again, but becasue I didn't deal with a lot of my issues they eventually got the better of me in 01...i fell in a major way... then I became that prodical son and because of God's mercy on me in 04, He welcomed me back home. He moved us to Virginia were we are growing closer to Him daily. My daughter is now about to turn 6, last christmas she survived double-pneumonia that turned her blood toxic...she survived trach s...Expand for more
urgery. There is not much she can really do without your help, but she makes funny noises and she will roll her eyes at you in a heart beat...for those of you that really remember me...guess the apple did fall to far from the tree...lol.
School
School...hated it in England, hated it Germany, hated it America...that pretty mush covers it :)
Ok, I was the kid that needed help, but was too cool to ask for it so I'd cheat off of Connie White's paper to pass the class...boi, I almost failed the class when that girl's family took her back to the states...lol
Come on people, we know what we used to do...don't try to be as smart as Connie now! hee hee Do ya'll remember her?
For real, I was one of those students that had to study for hours to understand...comprehension and...you've guessed it...spelling were my worst. I use Connie because she seemed like she had those photographic memories and only had to read or see somthing one and that was it...staight A's.
Anyhow, thank God for internet college, I am now working on my Masters degree...phew...that degree is a killer...
Well, that's all with that.
