Zora's Story
Life
After graduation from GHS (as I look back from this view in 2007), I think I must have gone completely mad. I ran off to California, like a dummy, married an idiot at 18, began to regain some sense when I divorced him, and finially got my act together upon marrying my darling husband, Howard, when I was 22.
I went to college when I found that I had not lost my mind completely and got my long awaited education. We have 3 beautiful children together and a very strong marriage of 20 years. Our oldest daughter is a Music Education Major at University of Southern Miss and plays the violin like an angel. Our youngest daughter is a genius in Theater and plans on a future in Broadway, then our baby boy plays the trumpet and plans to follow his big sister to a music career (he is off to a great start).
As for me, along the road I managed a couple of offices, a rental car company, joined the US Coast Guard Res and was sent to Kuwait for nearly 9 months my first year in. It was a great experience and only regret the time away from my family. I am getting older now and realize, to my dismay, that I have physical limitations and am having a difficult time growing old gracefully. I have had a wonderful life with my husband and children so far and am looking forward to as many more as the Good Lord will allow.

eral Store) in Lumberton, MS. We sell a little bit of just about anything you need for camping & fishing. We even sell hand crafted items & groceries. We rent boats, canoes, paddle boats, & YES we even rent MOVIES...for those dreary rainy days. We are located inside Little Black Creek Water Park. The park offers Cabin rentals, RV spaces, Primitive sites, and it is all snuggled around a beautiful 600 acre stocked lake. We love it out there and jumped at the chance to open the store there. Our kids view it as our home away from home. They help us in their spare time...sort of...well lets just say they "Test" out all the new fishing lures and baits that come into the store. Then they show off the catch of the day. Bass, Crappie, Bull Brim, Catfish & even a fresh water gar occaisionally...with big...ugly...monsterous TEETH! Then I have my part time job...A Real Estate Agent. Only it keeps me busy more than part time. I enjoy the change of pace from time to time.
So there you have it. The sum total of my accomplishments. Oh and I left the Most important one for last.
We have all been saved by Grace through our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ...where without Him none of us would be.
