Jack was Chief, Emergency Management for the Department of Public Safety. It was Jack who coordinated the plan when hurricanes struck Texas coast, organized & made places for all the evacuees from Louisiana during Katrina & handled any other disaster, manmade or otherwise, that might threaten our beloved Texas. After seeing the huge outpouring of respect & admirationfrom people from all walks of life after his death, think we should honor him.
