South Shore Tars: We are delighted to let you know that the proponents of changing South Shore's school name have withdrawn their request. Victory is ours, but with the blessing of maintaining the school's name comes a duty. The duty to support the school and its students. We hope to start a dialogue on that effort shortly. For now, the meeting on Saturday at 1 pm is cancelled, but we will support the school's 3 pm basketball game in the gym.
