It has been 50 years since the football team in 1962 went to the CIF playoffs. The team members will be inducted into the Torrance High School Hall of Fame during the car show being held at THS, Oct 13, 2012. There will then be a reunion dance that evening at the Elks Lodge in Torrance, with entertainment and a show featuring the "Surfin Safari's.
