Thru classmates.com, I could not use addresses so feel free to contact me The Bronx High School of Science Class of 1962 Sixtieth Reunion Dear Bronx Science ’62 Classmates, Our Official 60th Reunion Celebration is now scheduled for the weekend of September 16-18, 2022 and will be held in a Manhattan Hotel/Venue. This will be an opportunity to visit New York, spend time with friends and family, and have yet one more opportunity to commune with classmates whom we knew in 1958-1962 and those we didn’t have the opportunity to know then. Things are moving swiftly. We already have volunteers to handle several of the many aspects of our reunion, we are inviting all who are interested in contributing to get involved. If you would like to join in the effort, please contact Rick Plavner X or Lew Cohen X. Volunteers are needed to coordinate housing efforts, plan weekend events such as theater, ball games, a boat ride around Manhattan or a “Picnic in Central Park” , and assist with the details of “The Main Event”. We are continuing to make efforts to contact those who are “missing” or “lost” from our lists and groups to make this an inclusive event. Howard J. Cohen has graciously accepted the role of Treasurer for this event. We have opened a bank account and are ready to accept refundable deposits. Your deposit will help in the planning for our reunion as we work out hotel, meal(s) and other accommodations. We are asking for a deposit of $100 per person which we will use for initial start-up costs and to help us estimate the attendance. If for any reason you cannot attend after making your deposit, notify us before June 15, 2022 for a full refund. Full price will be announced once we have finalized terms with a Venue and well in advance of the June 15, 2022 deadline. And as we have done in past reunions, if attending at full price would be a financial burden, please contact Howard or Lew to discuss the matter confidentially.
