Hello everyone. After a brief tease, yesterday we promised we'd have news imminently about our 50th Reunion. And we do! Three months ago we contacted Mike Carey and his New Britain Inn and amidst the various state Covid restrictions he couldn't commit to us and asked to re-visit in early summer. We did and unfortunately Mike is busy again but is concerned about employee availability and regretfully declined for this year. We understand. But, a fail-safe was available. Paul and Lynn Fetches' son Kyle owns Blueprint Brewery in Harleysville (just off the Lansdale turnpike exit) and we have secured the facility to host our party. Date: Friday, September 3, 2021 (kick off for Labor Day weekend). Time: 5-11PM. Place: Blueprint Brewery, 1537 Gehman Rd., Harleysville, PA. Start making your travel and lodging plans immediately. Food trucks, craft brews will be available all night. Blueprint also offers mixed drinks and wine options as well. Indoor and, weather permitting, an outdoor beer garden. More than enough room for what we hope will be a great crowd. In addition, we will have a special treat with classmate Dave Bjornsgaard & Friends Band providing an entertaining set during the evening. Dave will encourage others to join in with the band if they'd like as well. Although we realize it's tough to pick a date that works for everyone we hope having the three day weekend to continue get together outside the Friday night festivities will be a positive for most. It is important for food truck preparedness and to make sure the brewery is set to roll efficiently that you give me a quick RSVP so we can get a general count of attendees. As the names come in we will publish them periodically to maybe entice those on the fence to see some familiar names.
