Our planning committee has put together a celebration weekend on September 23 and 24th. Friday, September 23 from 7 to 11, we will be at the new log cabin which is now called Heritage House. Plenty of free parking. All new and modern with complete full bathrooms. Lots of great restaurants around the square if you wish to have dinner with close friends prior. The Friday night event is free. We’ll have snacks, soft drinks and pizza. It is BYOB. We will have a police officer there as required. Casual dress. Bring a spouse or date, or come alone… Whatever you wish. We know that some folks will want to continue the evening and they may do so at any of the spots around town including Bass Lake Tavern and Chardon Taverne which is the farmer Chardon Beverage. We have some fun games planned and will of course have lots of memorabilia. Be sure to bring pictures both from the high school years as well as of your family or anything you wish to share with your classmates. Will have your books there also for folks to look at. On Saturday night, we will be meeting at 6:30 at Bass Lake Tavern which is under new ownership. It is now called the Lodge at Bass Lake. We will be in the upstairs party room. We will have appetizers and hors d’oeuvres along with a cash bar. The cost is $25.00 per person. We’ve done everything to keep the cost very low. Many of the expenses are subsidized by classmates. We know that some folks will want to come and have dinner on the patio at Bass Lake inn. We have a block of 12 rooms being held for those who wish to stay at Bass Lake Inn for one or both nights. The rates are extremely reasonable.
