IN 2025 WE WILL CELEBRATE #45! Forty-five years is a long time and so the reunion should provide ample opportunity to reminisce, laugh, cry, share photos, sip coffee, sip wine, smoke cigars, take a stroll, stay up all night chatting, dance like its prom night 1980, dine in elegant settings, give thanks for our 60+ years, and make plans to keep the renewed connections alive. With those being the goals, we invite you to join us for a four-night Royal Caribbean cruise to Canada departing from Cape Liberty, NJ June 17 – 21, 2025. What is the cost of the cruise? Rates start at $473.00 per person for interior (plus taxes and port fees). You might want to ask for a refundable rate, which is slightly higher. All cabins are double occupancy, so the expectation will be for two guests, each paying the cabin per person rate. What are the terms of payment? The deposit for one cabin is $200. The balance can be paid in installments. The final payment is due April 3, 2025. Can we bring family members? Absolutely, the rooms are double occupancy. Feel free to invite your spouse, partner, child, friend, or anyone who would enjoy the experience. It’s a reunion celebration but they’ll be plenty of opportunity to enjoy time with your cruise companion(s). Will there be organized events for Clara Barton Alumni? Yes, we will reserve a space for an awesome alumni exclusive event and there will be a designated section for our group in the dining room. The vibe will be “join us when and if you want but it’s fine to do your own thing if you prefer.” Are other Bartonite classes invited? This reunion is for the Class of 1980. There will be memorabilia specific to graduates of that year on display. However, all Bartonites are “family” and invited. I hope our 45th reunion is epic and worth the wait. So friends, in the coming year please remember to take vitamins, keep doctor’s appointments, attend Pilates classes, rest up, and get ready because BARTONITES ARE GONNA ROCK THE BOAT!
