Plans are being made for our 50th Reunion!!!!! DATES: August 27 No Host Picnic TIME: Starts at 1:00 PLACE: Blue Lake Park Chinook Picnic Shelter NOTE FROM GEORGE BRANT DDHS Class of '72...50th Reunion.... Here's What's Happening.... Thursday August 25th....DDHS Tour...10 AM 1001 SE 135th Ave, Portland, OR We will meet at the main entrance by the flagpole in front of the Junior Bldg. The Scot shop will be open to purchase DDHS attire. No rsvp necessary, just be there before 10 AM. The tour may last a couple hours. Friday, August 26th Golf at Gresham Golf Course Scramble format with the first tee time at 10:30AM. We have a few spots still open. If you are interested in signing up please message Kathi Patterson Liebenthal for contact info. The cost for seniors is $16 for 18 holes and $11 per rider per cart if wanting a cart. Golfers will be notified of their tee times a couple weeks in advance. If you want to arrange your own foursome please email me with the members of your group. Special thanks to Don Wolsborn for arranging this event. Saturday August 27th Reunion Picnic at Blue Lake Park Starts at 1 PM, there is a $5/car park entrance fee. The event will be held at the Chinook Shelter A/B. This is a BYO event, that means you bring your food and drink, alcohol is permitted (beer and wine only). To help with costs ( park reservation and alcohol permit, etc) We will be charging $10 per person at the park. You will then be entered into a raffle drawing. We have planned several activities: 3 legged race, water balloon toss, wheelbarrow race, corn hole, dancing and of course the singing of our fight song. Special prize to those that wear a kilt. No rsvp necessary AGAIN...pass the word to non FB group classmates...have them join the group! We are looking for donations for Raffle and Door Prizes.
