DHS OG Alumni (Original Gaels) and all other Alumni have received a first-ever invitation to attend the DHS Homecoming vs Amador game Oct 27 at 7pm. THE GAME: Wear BLUE or wear your Blue OG logo hoodie for the event. Other Alumni are encouraged to wear red or buy the first-ever Alumni sweatshirt. We'll sit together in the special alumni section at the south end of the stadium. DHS will provide a DIY Taco buffet at the game. HOTEL: The DoubleTree will provide hotel rooms for our DHS OG Homecoming attendees at a special group rate $159 per room per night checking in Friday Oct 27 for 1 night, but you can add a day or two before or after by calling the Sales Manager Don Martinez directly at 925 737 5612. Rooms are 1 King bed or 2 Queens if you want to share with another classmate. THE PARADE: Alumni are welcome to walk in the Homecoming Parade. Look for other OG classmates wearing BLUE at 3:45 pm at the staging area at Jack in the Box on Village Parkway. The Parade will begin at 4pm, go down Village Parkway and end at DHS stadium. Or if you prefer a sweet ride.... GET A TICKETS TO RIDE THE OG ALUMNI TROLLEY: I have arranged transportation for the OG group to ride in the parade if you prefer to ride the West Coast Trolley which will fit 34 people. The Trolley cost is $30 per person. Please let me know if you'd like to ride and I'll send you a payment request on venmo or zelle. I'll hand out wristbands so the driver can identify riders. You can join us at any one of the stops below. 2pm The Trolley will pick up us up at DHS (so we can leave our cars there) and take us to Lazy Dog. 2:10-3:30 I've reserved the patio at Lazy Dog for our pre-game warm up gathering (no tailgating at DHS please) 3:30 Trolley will take us from Lazy Dog to Jack in the Box for parade staging. 4:00-5:00 Trolley will travel the parade route to DHS Stadium. Please let me know if you would like to ride on the Trolley- it's $30 per person plus tips. Whoohoo, Magic Bus! LET'S GO GAELS!
