50th class reunion: Please mark your calendars for Friday and Saturday July 29 and July 30, 2022. Friday night, July 29, we'll have a dinner at the Mounds Country Club in Fort Atkinson. We'll follow-up Saturday evening, July 30, with a gathering at the American Legion in Fort Atkinson. Both events are at 6pm until closing. The Mounds is a sit-down buffet dinner tentatively planned for 6pm. We need a specific head and meal count for this event. The Legion will be an open house with food available throughout the evening. Spend any or all of your evening with us and prepare to mingle! We want to see everyone! Your reunion committee has been working diligently to finalize plans for the 50th. First, we want to thank those classmates who have already donated to the class reunion fund. This fund is intended to cover expenses for the reunion…. but we’re not there yet. We are still seeking donations of any amount, sooner than later please! Any funds remaining after reunion expenses will be donated to FHS Alumni Association from the Class of 1972. Please send your memories to: Phyllis Agnew - no later than June 1, 2022, so it can be included in the booklet. Along with your name tell us: -Name and location of elementary and middle/junior high school you attended -Favorite or influential teacher or subject -Slang vocabulary (think “jam,” “ziccing,” ”the circuit,” “carporama,” what else?) - Any other information you’d like to include about your family or you - be brief :-) See you soon!
