IT IS OFFICIAL… the JTH CLASS74 is having a 50th reunion!!! Thanks to all the people who have contributed their time and financial support to this event we are finished with the planning, scheduling and preparation. Everything is locked in and the only thing left for you to do is sign up and tell everyone you see to attend. We have gone all out and put together a 50th reunion party with a price tag of almost $20,000.00. The price is $150.00 per couple and $100.00 for a single. This includes a catered meal with roast beef, baked chicken and fried flounder with sides and desserts. You’ll need to wear your spanks or stretchy pants. This is being catered by Middle of the Island. When: the reunion party itself is on Saturday, October 5th from 6pm until 11:30. The event is being held at The Terraces on Sir Tyler at 1826 Sir Tyler Dr, Wilmington. Dress attire for this event is business casual. There will be a gathering of classmates on Friday night (10/4) at the Salty Dogs Tavern at 112 Hinton Ave. This is a meet and greet event and it is a very casual setting. All beverages and food here is on your dime. The committee will not be providing any alcohol beverages, but you can brown bag and leave your bottle, beer and wine it in the bar tender area. Labels will be available for you to use and we will have a couple professional bar tenders there to assist. There will be the normal selection of mixers and soft drinks available, if you use anything exotic you will need to bring it. The music for the evening will be provided by the Holliday Band. They are an award winning group with numerous recordings and multiple CBMA awards. You can preview their music on iTunes. Hotels for those coming in from out town are available on Wrightsville Beach, in the Mayfair area as well as downtown on the riverfront.
