Hi! Happy New Year! I never know what to say, but I wanted to update on the site, and thought this is a way to get info to the class... I'd volunteered to update on Classmates, to keep people informed who may not otherwise know or choose not to be on Facebook. The reunion group met in October and recapped the reunion. The feedback was that people wanted to get together more often, so they are possibly planning on a meetup at BW3's this year and possibly a future reunion in 2028. I wanted to thank the person who let me know that Lynn Smith Helsel had passed. I found out a Sunday in November and remember crying before church. I last saw her at the 20th reunion. I hadn't been to a Turkey Bowl, since about 2012. I'd been taking care of my Dad before he died. Went to a lot of calling hours and funerals in November and got behind in updating-- Many have loss of health, loved ones or family and I hope that this is a way for those to keep in touch some with their class, and feel comfortable and connected. So hopefully, by micro meetups or future events the class can continue to stay in touch. (Lynn is in the first row to the left, brown shirt/ white pants.
