DATES Events planned for Friday, September 1 (evening) and Saturday, September 2 (morning and evening). FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 – INFORMAL EVENING GATHERING AT DOWNTOWN RESTAURANT/BAR WHERE: Whiskey Taco, 507 Court Street (old location of West Dublin Pub & Grill) WHEN: 7pm till ? FEE: None THE SKINNY: This is an informal and optional gathering at the cool, brand new restaurant/bar in downtown, Pekin Whiskey Taco (old location of West Dublin Pub & Grill). It is a chance to kick off the weekend and say hi to our classmates over your favorite beverages and food. Similar to past reunion kick-off evenings, you are on your own for the cost of drinks and food but we are working on getting some drink specials from Whiskey Taco. We suggest arriving earlier than the 7pm start time if you would like to eat a full dinner meal. A block north of the 2nd Street Dairy Queen WHEN: Start at 10am through 12pm FEE: $5 cash admission THE SKINNY: Fun and interesting collection of Pekin historical exhibits and artifacts related to all aspects of Pekin, including our schools. The museum is curated by Pekin resident, Roger Brotherton. Admission fee is $5 cash. Highly rated by past visitors.
