Questions contact Dixie.Don Lifto recently talked to Jim Cook's sister, Caroline. Jim lives in an assisted care facility in Oakland, CA . His health was impacted by two strokes, the last one four years ago, as well as dementia. Caroline told Don that Jim no longer uses a cell phone or texts so the only way to communicate with him is with a written note/letter or personal visit. Don is planning to visit Jim in Oakland the weekend of July 14 - 16 and wanted to invite anyone interested to write a note/card/letter to Jim and mail it to Don at: 333 Sibley Street N., Apt. 604, St. Paul, MN 55101. Any notes that Don receives, he will hand deliver to Jim when he visits. Assuming no calendar problems, Don is also planning to be at the mini-reunion in Red Wing on July 29 and can update anyone who is there and interested on Jim's situation at that time.
