RICHLANDS HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1971 5 0 Year Class Reunion August 27, 28, 29, 2021 Richlands High School “Class of 1971” will hold its 50th year class reunion on August 27, 28, 29, 2021. We welcome all classmates, as well as any faculty and staff that wish to join us. Friday, August 27, 2021: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We’ll begin our reunion by meeting at the Cedar Bluff Cuts for a tail gate party. Pizza and soft drinks will be available. The cost will be $5.00 per person. Classmates and spouses or dates only. Everyone interested will then go to the Ernie Hicks Stadium for the RHS football game (providing games are being played due to COVID). Each person is responsible for their ticket to the game. Family is welcome to join the festivities at the game. LOOK FOR THE CLASS BANNER AND LET’S ENJOY “GOOD OLE” RHS FOOTBALL AGAIN. Saturday, August 28, 2021: 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 midnight. We will meet at the Russell County Conference Center, 139 Highland Drive, Lebanon,VA. Dinner and program will begin at 6:00 p.m. The cost will be $50.00 per couple or $25.00 for singles. Classmates and spouses or dates only. We have booked The Beach Nite Band (formerly the Collegians Band) from 8:00 -11:00 p.m. A class picture will be taken at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Please be on time so we can have everyone included in the photo, even if you don’t wish to purchase a personal copy. (This will be an Additional Cost). Sunday, August 29, 2021: 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. We will meet at the Cedar Bluff Cuts for a picnic. Everyone who can, please bring a covered dish, a bucket of chicken, dessert, drinks or chips. NO CHARGE. Classmates and spouses or dates, family and friends welcome. Your prompt response is appreciated, as we continue to make plans and reservations for “OUR FABULOUS 50th”! SINGLES – entire weekend - $30.00 COUPLES – entire weekend - $60.00
