SMHS Class of 1970 "Better Late Than Never" 50th Reunion Saturday and Sunday October 15 & 16, 2022 at the Santa Maria Inn - Cost is $70 per person Send checks made out to SMHS Class of 1970 Reunion to:: SMHS Class of 1970 Reunion, 540 E. Betteravia Rd., Ste. D 1970, Santa Maria, CA 96354 SATURDAY OCTOBER 15 - Tour SMHS, meet at the front steps of Ethel Pope Auditorium at 12 noon. No Host Cocktail party at SM Inn Tap Room and Ranchero Room from 7 PM to 10 PM SUNDAY OCTOBER 16 - Santa Maria Style BBQ at 1 PM at the SM Inn Cabana Room near the pool. (Vegetarian meals available on request.) The SM Inn has blocked rooms at a discount for October 14, 15 & 16. Please feel free to pass this on to anyone who might be interested as we don't have addresses for everyone. CLASS OF 1970 SCHOLARSHIP A Class of 1970 Scholarship was established in 2020 as a legacy for our class to give back to the community and support a deserving SMHS graduate in his or her college career. The scholarship in the amount of $1970 was presented in 2021 and 2022. . For the past two years the scholarship has been funded by two members of the Class of 1970 who would like to invite other classmates to participate by donating to a Class of 1970 Scholarship Fund. We are hoping to raise enough funds to continue the scholarship for several more years. The administration of the scholarship is being handled by the Kiwanis Club of Santa Maria. If you would like contribute to the scholarship fund please bring a check to the reunion made out to "Kiwanis For Kids" and write "Class of 1970 Scholarship" in the memo line.
