Securing the location was probably the most difficult part of the event, much thanks to Cheryl Follett to making contact with the township and getting us underway. We were asked and secured an event liability policy naming Peninsula Township and Peninsula Township Parks Committee as co-insured. Conditions for use of the park include no liquor/beer/wine sale, and no amplified music. A few notes: 1. I would like to get a banner we can hang from the pavilion, about 10' wide that says "TCHS Class of 1971". PLease let me know if you can help with this. 2. We should have a registration desk and ask that everyone sign in and wear a name tag (as if we're supposed to recognize each other from our year book pictures...) I would appreciate comments. 3. We are not required by our insurance policy to make people sign Covid waivers but should that be part of registration, a simple liability release? Carter can you provide any legal insight. 4. Weather permitting I'm planning a bike ride from the high school to the event by way of East Bay Drive, Center Road, Bluff Road, Smokey Hollow Road, and Kroupa Road starting at noon. 5. Communications: I hope we have a good turnout and am looking forward to seeing everyone. FYI our class has a Facebook group which is a great way of staying in touch/reconnecting.
