Writing to tell all of you about a great opportunity for us to participate in an oral history project “The Desegregation of DC” with the DC History Center (DCHC). As you know, the students of WWHS classes 1970 and 1971 were affected by the 1967 DC court ruling to desegregate DC public schools. The DC Historical Society, now DC History Center, has obtained a grant for an oral history project to document the history and events surrounding the Desegregation of DC.
