Saturday, July 16, 2022 is the new date for the Windsor Locks High School Class of 1971 50th Reunion. Hopefully the viruses will have subsided. We hope you will consider registering early. The form can be found on the alumni site. Fill it out and return to Cindy Barry Cooper along with you check for $50. A vegetarian meal is available. Indicate that on the form. Deadline is July 1st. We have a reunion Facebook page 1971 WLHS 50th Class Reunion. Also, the WLHS Alumni website is another site. Check them out for updates. If you no longer want to be contacted, please let us know by PMing us. In summary: A block of rooms has been reserved at Holiday Inn Express at the corner of Spring St and Ella Grasso Turnpike, Windsor Locks. Ask for the $119 plus tax rate for the WLHS Class of 1971 50th Reunion rate. Note that this is a change from the previous hotel. Friday, July 15, 2022 – Informal Meet & Greet 7 to 9 pm at 3 Figs Restaurant, 94 Mountain Rd in Suffield. Consider having dinner there before as the food is excellent. This is also a change from the previous location. Saturday, July 16, 2022 – Reunion event with Dinner & Music at 6 pm, Skyline Restaurant, 106 Ella Grasso Turnpike, Windsor Locks Optional Saturday activities – contact the classmate indicated if you are interested. Contact Janice Barteaux if you have any suggestions. Golf – Contact Steve Farr as he is keeping a running list of those interested in playing when looking for tee times and groupings.
