Charlie Sheen (born Carlos Irwin Estevez, September 3, 1965) is an American actor. He attended Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica, California but was expelled just weeks before graduation for poor grades and attendance. In high school, Sheen started to take a real interest in acting and his brother Emilio and friends, actors Rob Lowe and Sean Penn started making Super 8 films. Later he burst onto the scene in hit films Platoon, Wall Street and Young Guns. Sheen is most commonly known for his role on the show Two and a Half Men, which (at the time) he was the highest paid actor on television but was later fired. He is the son of actor Martin Sheen and brother to actor Emilio Estevez.
