Russell Carrington Wilson (born November 29, 1988) is an NFL quarterback. He graduated from Collegiate High School, in Richmond, Virginia, in 2007. Wilson played football, baseball, and basketball in high school and was actually drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2008. However, Wilson chose to attend college instead. After an impressive college career, where he played football for both NC State and University of Wisconsin, Wilson was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2012 NFL draft. Although small for a quarterback, Wilson has demonstrated excellent passing and rushing skills. He led the Seahawks to their first Super Bowl victory in 2014.
