Alyce's Story
I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me after all these 30+ years. This is my story - I went to work after high school and met my 1st husband. We were married 20 years and have 2 wonderful children - my son Tim is divorced and has 3 children - 2 daughters Gabbie (stepdaughter and granddaughter in our hearts) and Loralei and a son Jackson. My daughter Tara is single but looking - not in a big hurry. My ex was in the Coast Guard for 16 years so we did move around a bit and finally retired back in St. Louis - divorced in 1992. I met my 2nd husband Jay at a Parents Without Partners dance in July 1994 - married September 1995. p daughter Grace) and the youngest son Michael is married and has a son Austin and a new baby girl Hailee Grace. Between us we have 9 grandchildren who keep us on our toes and young at heart. My husband Jay works as a painter/paper hangar and I work for Ecolab as a field support assistant (which means I answer the phone, send out reports and put out fires for a bunch of sales people). Not glamorous but I love it. Jay and I enjoy dancing (big band and swing/imperial), movies, the Fox Theatre, the Muny, dining out and being with friends. Now that our kids are grown and on their own we get to do that more often. We even get to take vacations-will wonders never cease! All in all we are doing well and are very blessed with our families.
