Carla's Story
I have worked for the University of California since I graduated from Berkeley. Love my job, but would like to do less of it...thanks to the furlough...I'll have some more time to ski this winter!! Also love bike riding and Pilates reformer work.
Love to cook, eat and drink wine.
Drove my daughter to grad school at Vanderbilt in Nashville in July...fun trip on Route 66.

ended, and salary restored (good/bad news). Was given a new area of responsibility earlier this year, so now I have 4 jobs...LAMP Web application development, Java/WebSphere Endowment system, Customer Service Liaison to our CIO and the new one, SharePoint manager. UC has been a great place to work for 37+ years, but I've had about enough fun for one career...and am ready to become a ski bum!
