Florence's Story
Life
I live in Burlingame with my husband, Andrew, and my daughters, Abby and Tilly (ages 5 and 2, respectively). Currently, I'm home fulltime with the girls, but am maintaining my license to practice psychology. Andrew is an orthopedic surgeon at Palo Alto Med and specializes in foot and ankle surgery.
School
I thought Gunn had amazing performing arts departments. I had a great time as the choir's piano ...Expand for more
accompanist. I liked working with Mrs. Merchant, who I felt respected me as a musician even though I was still in high school. I also enjoyed participating in plays and musicals. Even if I didn't get a part, I liked the audition process. (Maybe that's why I am addicted to watching American Idol.) Jim Shelby was wonderful to work with. I also felt respected by him as a musician and thought he was a nice guy.
