John's Story
Life
Retired as a U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Four in 2004 after serving 27 years in the Army in various positions including an infantryman in America and Asia. Received a B.A. from State University of New York in Albany in 1985 with an Asian Studies major; graduated with honors with a M.S., International Relations in 2003. rea Defense and Good Conduct medals as well as Joint Civilian Service medal. Avid golfer (12 handicap), jogger, and tourist. Won two writing contests. Enjoy reading the New York Times, Washington Post, novels, and foreign language newspapers. Married, three daughters.
After the Army, I started a second career as a US government civilian in DOD and I am still working. My health is excellent and I still jog and play golf often. I started traveling more; especially to Italy, where our recently married daughter lives.
