Stewart Hayes:  

After graduation from Gunn attended UCSD and played soccer. I enjoyed it so much that after graduation with BA in psychology hung around to coach the USCD Tritons Men's Soccer team in 1974. Coaching requires more psychology than anything else. Moved north to Stanford and completed AM in 1977. Then returned to coach at UCSD from 1977-1979. Worked briefly as assistant coach with the San Diego Sockers of the old NASL. Did not make enough money so I returned to the SF Bay area in 1981 and was hired by what is now known as Verisk Analytics and spent the majority of my career with them as a field representative in northern third of the state. Got married had two children, Alexander '87 and Grant '91 who are both doing well and still unmarried!. Divorced in 1995 and remarried in 2002. Mayela and I now live in Costa Rica but we still return to northern Ca to visit family and manage my residential real estate and timber acreage in Shasta County.
