Hey, Virginia friends…..I would love to see a lot of Class of 1971 here. It has been over 30 years since I have been back. All Groveton Alumni.. per Mickey Kidwell I have Great News..!! We have received permission to have the Old Groveton High School on Popkins Lane, "Open" for a "Walk Down Memory Lane". This will be on Saturday ( October 8th ), 12:00pm to 2:00pm, it's the day before the All Class Reunion picnic at Ft Hunt Park. Come walk the halls of Tiger Nation, reminisce on the memories we had from the years we spent at our great school. Take pictures of Coach Jack White's basketball Gym, Mr LaPorte's Shop area, our theater area, see if you can find your old locker. 😀 I want to personally thank, Tony Case for helping me secure and open our school.. Tony, Thank you.. I hope everyone can take advantage of this event and enjoy all the memories of Groveton High School... Go Tigers..!!!
