From Facebook South Meck 1973 Reunion!! 73ers! We are exploring options for the South Meck Class of 1973 - 50th Reunion scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 2023. The Marriott Hotel on Carnegie Blvd, near Southpark, can hold up to 100 people on that date. There is a room rental fee of $500.00 and a food and beverage minimum of $4,000.00. We are working to understand what the food and beverage might include and convert that to a final cost per head. The Marriott will also offer us a discounted block of rooms for the following: Friday, April 28th, 2023 – 15 kings rooms for $159.00 plus tax per room per night Saturday, April 29th, 2023 - 15 kings rooms for $159.00 plus tax per room per night So....the next step is to pose three questions: -What do you think of the Marriott at Southpark? -How many classmates would attend the Saturday event if we charged $75.00 per person? -How many classmates would attend the Saturday event if we charged $100.00 per person? We want to reiterate that the final cost per attendee will be finalized and circulated to alumni once we have confidence in the number of attendees. Our goal is to have at least 100 attendees.
